What better way to celebrate a new release than to have a contest. It will run through the weekend and I’ll be giving away a $10 Amazon gift card. To enter, just answer the following question: What is your favorite supernatural being or what kind of supernatural creature would you like to see get a little more attention in print?
Leave your answer in the comments below and I will draw a winner on Sunday.
I love shifters the most but I’m not adverse to vampires or Fae 🙂
I love vampires! I’ve been toying with a story idea with one. Fae are great, too. I have a dark fae coming up in Revelations #3. Question: How do you like your fae, winged or non-winged?
I like white tigers.
I love tigers!
Jackal shifters and sabertooth tiger shifters 🙂
OMG! Now you guys are just adding to my list of feline shifters. Too many choices! 😀
Also a dinosaur shifter or 2 would be hot 🙂 The only time I’ve ever seen Dino shifters was in a 3 book series that had 3 Dino shifters (a T. Rex and 2 velociraptors) in it by Kiernan Kelly. Sad they’re so rare to see 😦
I’ll always love my “wolfy” shapeshifters, but I would definitely like to see more in regards to feline shapeshifters, most especially the lions or a genetic fluke that allows them to shift to a pre-historic form. I also wouldn’t mind reading more about “avian” shifters because I don’t think they get enough attention in the shifter-verse 🙂
Might I suggest trying Stephani Hecht’s Lost shifters series plenty of feline and avian shifters in there.
Mary Calmes and Bailey Bradford also have great series with feline shifters. Psychic Says(Revelations #2) has feline shifters but I just can’t commit to what kind. I just love them all 🙂
Oh yes the leopard spots series is amazing! I have em all 🙂 Mary Calmes I’ll have to check out. Yay! More naughty shifters 😉
Change of Heart by Mary Calmes is Book #1. Love her!
love the shifters, they just work for me-
Hi, JJ! I would like to see more ‘Winged’ guys. I don’t mean angels, but a race that is mostly human, but also have wings in proportion to their body, and can fly. They would have to have a cool way to disguise them, but that would be a part of creating an allure for these people.
Love it!
Hi hi! I think werewolves are good, but any shifters would be alright. It really depends on the story itself.
Any shifters are awesome. As long as they are hot and the book is great. But I must say I love me some dragons.
Banshee. I’ve always held a fascination for banshees.
I’ve read so many shifter books .be it any kind of creature from wolf to pheonix to dragon . I’ve read of wizard and witches
Vampires , ghosts, and ghouls.
I’ve read mermaids , incubus, necromancers, and gargoyles. I’ve never come across a banshee.
That is such an interesting idea. **wheels are turning** I like it 🙂
Cool!
Yeah I alway found then fascinating. This got me thinking though. I also would love to read about Sirens. I love the mythology behind them. Also elementals . If you’re familiar with Avatar the Last Airbender series , basically like that . Benders . They’ve the ability to control elements. Some can control all. http://chrismyth.hubpages.com/hub/Mythological-Creatures-Elementals
I studied a bit of the folklore in college. My professor loved talking about them.
And the Selkies. It’s an Irish and scottish folklore . Technically they are shifters but a bit complicated. I first came across it in the movie the Secret life of roan inish . From then I was hooked.
I’ve also read a lot of books bout the Fae. Mythology has always been such an intriguing subject for me.
